Your responsibilities

  • You will work in an international team in the field of Aerospace Engineering for Aircraft Systems like the combat fighters Eurofighter, the future next generation fighter, unmanned systems and military or commercial helicopters

  • You are responsible for the testing and integration of subsystems part of Avionic Systems or other safety-critical embedded systems for our customers

  • You are responsible for the analysis and review of System requirements as a basis for subsequent test activities

  • You create or upgrade the test specifications, test cases and test protocols

  • Perform test preparation at the system test benches or RIG modules and you define the test interfaces

  • Programming software user codes

  • Perform subsystem/system integration and test execution at avionic test benches or RIG modules

  • Verification of the implementation of the software or system's requirements

  • Document the results into test reports

What we are looking forward

  • You have successfully completed your studies in the field of computer science, electrical- or aerospace engineering, mathematics, physics, or comparable aviation engineering qualification

  • You have very good experiences in test systems and in defining and implementing structured system tests

  • You have knowledge of bus systems (CAN bus, MIL-STD, ARINC, Serial)

  • You have experience in test systems MATE or AIDASS (beneficial)

  • You have experiences in DOORS (beneficial)

  • You have experiences in C programming (beneficial)

  • Good skills in communicating technical content and progress of projects

  • You speak fluent English

  • German skills are a great advantage and willingness to learn German is mandatory

  • Important note: Due to legal requirements, unfortunately only applicants with German, British, Italian or Spanish nationality can be considered for projects in the military environment.
